The 365 Project and My Photography Habit

A few months ago I decided to step up my blogging game and stop taking pictures of slightly green chicken wings and blurry yellow hashbrowns. I needed a new camera fast. After doing some research, I settled on the Canon EOS Rebel XSi  and I love it. It’s an entry level digital SLR that takes great pictures and it didn’t break the bank.  Photography has turned into one of my favorite hobbies and food photography is developing into a passion. I’m ashamed to admit that trying to duplicate some of the shots I see in magazines has turned into a bit of an obsession.

Last month I joined the 365 project at 365project.org. The goal of this project is to take a picture everyday and post it to the 365 website. You essentially build a photographic daily dairy. This encourages you to be creative and helps build up your photography skills through practice, practice, practice.  Every week or two I’m going to share my 365 photos on MusicCityFoodie.com. If there are any photographers reading this, I welcome any and all feedback.
