The Saltiest Restaurant Meals

The Center for Science in the Public Interest released a report on sodium in America’s fast food restaurants. As a semi-reformed salt-aholic, I must admit that I’m flabbergasted at the amount of salt in some of these dishes. Because my husband has hypertention, I’ve made an effort to cut back on the salt to help reduce his salt consumption. I’ve become much more cognizant of adding salt or salty spice mixes but I had never really thought about the restaurants we like to frequent. Below are the top 5 saltiest fast food meals in their report. Holy Cow!!! Keep in mind that the recommended maximum daily sodium intake is 2300 mg.
